In the third stage of marketing according to a Create Space blogger, you should look into doing a proof giveaway of your book. You should have already done your outreach to other bloggers and reviewers to raise author brand awareness, and now it’s time to do the same thing for your book.
When you get to the proof stage, he advises ordering the maximum amount, and then announcing it as a pre-release giveaway on your blog or Facebook page. He says that book proofs are the perfect marketing tool because they act as sneak peeks for lucky winners of your giveaway.
They can also act as the catalyst for you to get your book on the internet, and get people talking about it. You should do a giveaway period that lasts no more than six weeks but no fewer than two.
You can even spread the giveaway out and do it as one book per week, depending on how many proofs you are able to get. This stage of book marketing is for generating a buzz, and this is definitely an exceptional way to do it!
